The story of The Lawn begun with the idea of serving up some sunset margaritas out of a beachside Combi van to the surfers and beachgoers of Canggu. Fast forward a few years and you find a world-class venue that has earned the top spot on the Conde Nast Bali’s Best Beach Clubs list and is hosting some of the biggest names in music and surf.

The Lawn was founded and is closely led by pro-surfer Tai Buddha, whose creativity and knack for pushing the boundaries of entertainment has made The Lawn what it is today. Over the last decade, Tai Buddha has become a pioneer within the Bali hospitality industry, growing a portfolio of multiple iconic venues scattered across the island's coastline. With the renovation and re-opening of The Lawn, he hopes to create something that belongs to the local scene and builds a bridge between Bali and the international stage.
